Tuesdays are kids eat free day at Players! Come with your parents for dinner then decorate a sugar cookie with Santa for just $2 ($1 of the proceeds will go to United Way of Dickinson). Serendipity Giving Tree

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2022 AT 6 AM – 5 PM

So often preteens and teens in lower-income families are forgotten during the holiday season. So, Serendipity and United Way of Dickinson are partnering together this holiday season to ensure that local children between the ages of 12 and 18 and enrolled in school are not forgotten. When you stop by Serendipity, please donate a teen appropriate gift or gift card either from Serendipity themselves or a gift card from somewhere else. Help make a local preteen or teen’s Christmas dreams come true.

Festival of Trees

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2022 AT 10 AM – 4 PM

Fun Free Event for the Whole Family! Saturday 11/19 @ BAC 10am – 3pm.
A fun community event for families to gather and celebrate the holiday season. Admission is free, but we do ask you to bring a donation that will help us help local people in need (toilet paper, food, and other small necessities).
Christmas tree and wreath auction to benefit multiple local nonprofits. All donations stay local!
Activities:
* Decorated trees & wreath viewing/ silent auction 10am – 3pm
* Spotlight nonprofit (Sunrise Youth Bureau)- booth and silent auction 10am – 3pm
* Consolidated Reindeer Games 10am – 3pm
* Santa’s Nook Photos by Brittany Derrow Photography 10am – 12:30pm
* Santa Reading and WCCU donation 1pm

12th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2022 AT 11 AM – 1:30 PM

Help Fight hunger locally in Stark and Dunn Counties. Pick out a beautiful, handcrafted bowl and then savor a homemade meal of soup and bread. Proceeds go to local nonprofits who feed the needy in our community. Bowls range in price from $20 to $150 per bowl, the meal is included in the price of the bowl.
Special thanks go to the artists donating their time and bowls; Dickinson State University Art Department (DSU students, faculty, and staff); Badlands Art Counsel, Sacred Heart Monastery, Sweet Clover Photography, Coca Cola and to the BAC.

2nd Annual Community Baby Shower

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2022 AT 9 AM – 11 AM

 

 

United Way of Dickinson, Southwest District Health Unit, USpireND, and Moe Events are partnering together to bring Stark County our second Community Baby Shower. Help us help 25 local low-income parents get through their first month with baby by donating a new infant item. The actual baby shower will be held during the 3rd semi-annual Let’s Swap event at the Dickinson Armory.

Be a SUPER HERO, just like the star of Dav Pilkey’s young readers’ books. Drop of packages of NEW underwear, diapers, t-shirts, socks, sweatpants, or other clothing items. All sizes for boys and girls needed.
August 1st through September 3rd. Donations go to local public elementary schools and United Way of Dickinson’s Family Support families in need.

Devon Energy Hosts Golf Tournament Benefitting United Way
Participants, sponsors raise money to support North Dakotans in need

DICKINSON, N.D. (June X, 2022) — Devon Energy employees and local citizens hit the greens to raise money for United Way. Over 30 local companies sponsored the tournament, to help improve the quality of life for their fellow North Dakotans through the United Way. “We can’t thank Devon enough for their continued commitment to serving their neighbors, especially those who are struggling,” said Nichole De Leon, executive director of the United Way of Dickinson. “This money will make a major difference in the lives of seniors, families and youth and help provide them with brighter futures.” Christina Rehkop, Devon’s director of community relations, said the company prioritizes opportunities to bring people together for a good cause.
“Devon takes a thoughtful approach to helping our communities by partnering with organizations which can make the biggest impact,” Rehkop said. “United Way supports people in need across the state, and we’re proud of our long-lasting partnership.”

Paws for a Cause

May 1 – May 31, 2022

 

Head over to Menards any day in May and donate dry and wet dog and cat food, cat litter, dog and cat toys, food and water bowls, pet collars of all sizes, paper towels, and trash bags. All food items will go to multiple nonprofits in our local community to help those in need of help feeding their pets. Nonprofits who will receive food include Oreos, Raise the Woof, and Furever Full Pet Pantry. Thank you, Dickinson and Menards, for your support!

Bakken Inflatables 5K Fundraiser (3rd Annual)

We apologize for the inconvenience; however, the Bakken Inflatable’s committee has decided to cancel the Bakken Inflatable fundraiser this year, revamp it, and come back next year with a much more delicious event.
